Mayor's Office promotes environmental awareness day "I don't dirty Managua, I use the containers"

With the aim of keeping our capital city clean and healthy, the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power held a comprehensive care fair to publicize the Environmental Awareness Campaign "I do not dirty Managua, I use the Containers", aimed at self-employed workers. own, which are dedicated to the hauling of solid waste in horse drawn carts.

This comprehensive care day, which took place in the garbage container located at the entrance to the Sabana Grande region, consisted of providing veterinary care to the equines, through the Institute for Agricultural Protection and Health; for its part, the Municipality sensitized the owners of the horse carts to use the containers to keep the city clean, it also repaired and painted the carts; Likewise, through the Ministry of Health, general medical consultation, pediatrics, dentistry, gynecology and ultrasounds were given to the families of these self-employed workers.

The activity was chaired by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who urged these self-employed workers to use these containers to deposit solid waste and that together we keep our capital city clean, beautiful and healthy.

For their part, the owners of these horse carts were happy with the attention provided and expressed their gratitude to the Good Government, for promoting these days of the common good, as stated by Mrs. Beatriz del Carmen Bonilla; Another who expressed his satisfaction was Mr. Julio César Cienfuegos and expressed his contribution to this initiative, as part of shared social responsibility.
