Project is presented to the Economic Commission of the National Assembly

Committed to improving and expanding the road network in Managua, authorities of the Capital Commune presented to members of the Economic Commission of the National Assembly the Rehabilitation Project of the Juan Pablo II Track and its Pasos a Desnivel, for their due parliamentary opinion.

At this meeting, the different banks present in the parliamentary commission expressed their unanimous support for the loan of 105.5 Million Dollars, by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), for the rehabilitation of the Juan Pablo II Track and its Desnivel Passes.

At this meeting between members of the Economic Commission of the National Assembly and building authorities, comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the capital city, expressed the importance of this project for the development of the capital; He also stated that this parliamentary support represents an important step at the beginning of this project, which they hope will be approved in plenary in the next few days.

Therefore, he said, he foresees that in the last quarter of this year the tender will be taken out, to start works in 2018; which consist of the road expansion of the Juan Pablo II track, which runs from the 7 Sur traffic lights to the El Nuevo Diario traffic lights on the North Highway, with almost 10 kilometers in length.
