In a supervision tour, with the media, building authorities presented the alternate roads that will be used when the total closure is carried out at the intersection of the 7 South traffic lights, due to the construction of the overpass.
This closure will take place after 4 weeks, when the drainage works and construction of the foundations of the 7 Sur underpass will begin, for which he requested understanding from the families that use these roads.
In the same way, it was announced that the alternative routes to be used are: the street that is located on the west side of the Superintendency of Banks to the south that communicates with the Tip-Top restaurant sector, which will function as a route between the Juan Pablo II track and Carretera Sur; Another interconnection that has already been established is the one that joins the Carretera Nueva a León and the Carretera Sur, which crosses the Ayapal neighborhood.
Likewise, it was indicated that between the construction of the Las Piedrecitas overpass and 7 Sur, there were total and partial damages along the road that affect the properties of 212 families, of which there is already an agreement with a little more of 170.
The work of the overpass in the 7 Sur, is expected to be ready in the first quarter of 2018, which will join the construction of the Las Piedrecitas underpass, which represents one of the largest projects of the highway in Managua, which will significantly improve entry to the capital from the west and south of the country.
