As part of the care and conservation of our natural resources and within the framework of the World Environment Day celebrations, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua organized the First Environmental Forum on Hydrocarbons and its Legislation.
Companies and institutions that are involved in this issue participated in this event, including MARENA, ENACAL, MEM and private companies that work in the recycling and handling of hydrocarbons; as well as environmental promoters from the seven district delegations.
Likewise, it was announced that this forum will multiply with workshops and small companies that work with hydrocarbons, such as industrial oils, so that they can manage these products well.
This activity was chaired by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, who expressed the commitment of the Good Government to carry out actions for the protection and conservation of our mother earth.
In this environmental forum, topics such as the integral management of used lubricants, the impact of spills and leaks of hydrocarbons in the environment, the control and monitoring of establishments connected to the sanitary sewer system and Law 277 were presented.
