The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, with the support of the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity chaired by Commander Daniel Ortega and comrade Rosario Murillo, covered 320 linear meters equivalent to three streets in the Venezuela neighborhood with hot asphalt.
The re-inspection of these streets was carried out with an investment of 761 thousand córdobas through economic transfers granted by the Central Government.
It should be noted that this road had already given its useful life and was completely destroyed by time and use of it.
The work was inaugurated and delivered by comrade Reyna Juanita Rueda, Secretary of the Council, who stated that with this rework, the added value of the homes in this neighborhood will also improve, as well as the pedestrian safety of its inhabitants.
The improvement of the road network in the capital is an express will of President Daniel Ortega and Comrade Vice President Rosario Murillo, who are pending to improve the living conditions of citizens in general, said the Secretary of the Council.
At the same time, he emphasized that in District IV the municipality had planned to improve 26 blocks through the “Streets for the People” Program in five neighborhoods of this District, including those that we are inaugurating today to benefit 105 families in the Venezuela neighborhood.
To date, in District IV, improvements are already being completed on the 26 programmed streets, which are in perfect traffic and drainage conditions.
