As part of the Citizen Power and direct democracy model promoted by Good Government through the Mayor's Office of Managua, a road improvement and storm drainage work was carried out in the Carlos Núñez neighborhood of District 7 of our capital city.
This work of progress was delivered to the community, by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who made the inaugural ribbon cutting together with the beneficiary families.
The Vice Mayor announced that this project for the common good was requested by the population in community assemblies and included in the annual investment plans, as part of the Citizen Power model.
He also said that the work had an investment of 8 million 177 thousand 800 Córdobas, and consisted of the installation of 615 linear meters of rainwater drainage; as well as the paving of 7 blocks of streets with hydraulic concrete.
For their part, the beneficiary population expressed their appreciation for this work of progress, which contributes to improving the living conditions of the families of this community in District 7.
