In an atmosphere of joy, culture and tradition, the 16th edition of the Alegría por la vida carnival was held; activity in which 52 comparsas paraded, who demonstrated their artistic skills before the large number of spectators who came to see the cultural waste on Avenida Bolívar.
Among the troupes that marched in the carnival, artistic representations from Costa Rica, El Salvador and Cuba attended; who in turn admired the realization and organization of this event.
The ribbon cutting was made by the Mayor of the Citizen Power Daysi Torres, Carnival Butler, the Vice Mayor of Managua Enrique Armas and Mrs. Emperatriz Urroz, President of the Nicaragua Alegría por la Vida Carnival 2017.
The parade of comparsas and artistic groups with representative themes of Nicaraguan folklore, developed from the Hugo Chávez roundabout to the Chancellery traffic lights, where stands were set up for a better appreciation of the parade, which was characterized by its order and security, which was in charge of the National Police, Firefighters, the Nicaraguan Red Cross and young volunteers.
