As part of the promotion of good environmental practices, as well as the proper use of solid waste, the Good Government, in coordination with organizations, movements and companies that work for the environment, the sixteenth edition of the Fair was held Nacional de la Tierra, which this year had the motto "Water and Human Development."
At this fair, institutions, national and international organizations, as well as environmental movements and private companies exhibited the different activities that they carry out to guarantee the common good, through the conservation and protection of our mother earth.
The inaugural activity was chaired by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Deputy Mayor of Managua, Deputy Edwin Castro, José Adán Aguerri, President of COSEP and Miss Berenice Quezada, Miss Nicaragua 2017.
Then, the attendees of the event were invited to visit the 143 exhibition modules installed on the trails and the auditorium of the Japanese park, where the participants presented their environmental conservation efforts and gave talks on the importance of preserving our natural resources.
This activity took place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 April, in an environment of culture and environmental awareness, with the participation of rhythmic bands, musical groups and national artists, who entertained the event; Also at the fair, recognition was given to the Scout Movement of Nicaragua, for commemorating its first centenary of foundation.
