Bushy streets in the Altagracia neighborhood

In compliance with the model of Citizen Power and citizen participation exercised by good Government through town councils and community assemblies, the Capital Commune carried out road improvement works in the Altagracia neighborhood of District 3 of Managua.

This work for the common good was inaugurated and delivered to the population of the sector by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, who expressed the commitment of the good government to continue working to restore the rights of families in the capital.

Likewise, he announced that this road improvement project consisted of the asphalt surfacing of 8 blocks of streets, in the María Mazzarello school sector, directly benefiting 5,200 inhabitants of the community and surrounding areas.

This work of progress was requested by the population in community assemblies and executed through the Streets for the People Program, promoted by the Central Government, through the Mayor's Offices of the Citizen Power; which had an investment of 3 Million 605 Thousand Córdobas.

For their part, the population of the Altagracia neighborhood expressed their appreciation for this work for the common good, which contributes to improving the living conditions of families in the sector, which was requested by the community as part of direct democracy.
