Mayor's Office prepared for the Holy Week Festivities

Following instructions from the Central Government led by President Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, the municipality prepared a complete program of recreational, cultural and sports activities for families from the capital, national and foreign tourists who visit Paseo Xolotlán and Parque Luis Alfonso during the Easter holidays from April 8 to 16.

The activities begin this Saturday, April 8 at 6:00 in the afternoon and throughout the week attendees will be able to enjoy music, dance, recreational activities for children, a water buzzard and a neon light show.

Vice Mayor Enrique Armas explained that all the activities were designed with family recreation in mind and to satisfy the public of all ages.

"This Saturday, April 8, the games are broken at 6:00 in the afternoon in front of the water park with a neon light show, an artistic presentation of Solo Batucada and dance music with the group La Comarca."

Armas explained that every day of Holy Week there will be a different activity.

On Palm Sunday, always in front of the water games in Paseo Xolotlán, a cumbia festival will be held, while on Holy Monday, starting at 3:00 in the afternoon in Luis Alfonso Park in front of Plaza Belén circus activities will be held.

On Holy Wednesday, Paseo Xolotlán becomes a giant court to play beach volleyball as a rehearsal prior to the Central American Games.

While on Holy Thursday, La Plaza 22 de Agosto will install new water games, slides and giant pools.

Reyna Rueda, Secretary of the Managua Council, explained that the objective of the Central Government is to guarantee family recreation and citizen security at affordable prices.

"Our Government wants to guarantee that the Paseo Xolotlán and Luis Alfonso Park become a space that summons and gathers families and thousands of tourists, for this, we will be attending from 9:00 in the morning until 10:00 in At night all citizens will be able to enter and enjoy electronic games with a symbolic price of 5 cordobas, for the smallest of the house. In the Paseo Xolotlán, the entrance to the park will cost 5 cordobas while the water games will cost 30 cordobas and for the brothers who arrive by vehicle they will pay 5 cordobas for the motorcycles and 10 cordobas for the cars ”.
