In the evening of this Monday, March 27, the MAC 2017 cycling expedition arrived in the Nicaraguan capital, as part of their 3-month journey, which they will carry out through Mexico and Central America.
This "MAC 2017" expedition is made up of 40 cyclists with an average age of 65 years, 38 from France, an Irishman and a Canadian; who on January 29 left Oaxaca Mexico, traveling through Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, until reaching Nicaragua, visiting its scenic beauties and heading towards Costa Rica and Panama.
Comrade Enrique Armas, Vice Mayor of Managua received this expedition in Loma de Tiscapa Park, where he welcomed them and conveyed the Good Government greetings; at the same time inviting them to walk along Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez and visit the fourth stage of Paseo Xolotlán.
For their part, cyclists expressed their admiration for the scenic beauty that Nicaragua has; Furthermore, they stated that the city of Managua has grown in terms of tourism compared to their previous visits.
At the same time, they expressed their admiration for the citizen security that is observed in the country, at the same time that they thanked the authorities of the country for the attention provided and handed over a banner of the expedition to comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua.
