With an artistic presentation by the choral group "Los Rubencitos", at the Rubén Darío National Theater, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power commemorated this Sunday, February 5, the 165th anniversary of Managua having been elevated to the capital of the Republic of Nicaragua.
The artistic presentation was held in the Pilar Aguirre experimental room of the Rubén Darío National Theater, where the Municipal Choir and Los Rubencitos expressed their artistic skills by interpreting, through song, theater and dance, the poems and prose of our distinguished poet Ruben Dario.
Los Rubencitos, is a group of declaiming boys and girls, who were selected in a literary contest, held at the beginning of 2016, among boys, girls and adolescents aged 7 to 15 years, and who had artistic attitudes to promote poetry of Rubén Darío in the new generations.
The artistic presentation was chaired by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Council, comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, and comrade Clemente Guido Martínez, Director of Culture and Municipal Historical Heritage.
