The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, delivered this Saturday, January 28, the municipal order "Alexis Argüello for Sports Excellence" to the Three-time World Boxing Champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad, in recognition of his achievements and outstanding work in boxing sport.
The Alexis Argüello Municipal Order for Sports Excellence is the highest distinction awarded by the Municipality to athletes, who have stood out and achieved great achievements in their sports disciplines.
This decoration to the Puerto Rican boxer was presented by comrade Daysi Torres Bosques, Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua, who together with Vice Mayor Enrique Armas and comrade Reyna Rueda, Secretary of the Managua Council, paid tribute and welcomed the capital city, to the greatest boxer in the history of Puerto Rico.
For his part, the Puerto Rican boxer Félix “Tito” Trinidad, expressed his gratitude with the recognition given and expressed his love and appreciation for the Nicaraguan people.
