Managua Council approved to award the municipal medal Alexis Argüello to the Three-time World Boxing Champion Félix Tito of Trinidad

The three-time World Boxing Champion Félix Tito de Trinidad will be decorated by the Mayor of Managua with the Municipal Order of Sports Excellence "Alexis Argüello" next Saturday, January 28, which was unanimously approved by the members of the Municipal Council in Ordinary Session number 48 .

In this same session, the different Permanent and Special Commissions of the Municipal Collegiate Body were formed, which were integrated by the members of the three political benches that make up the Building Council.

It was also unanimously approved declaring the Appeal filed by Jorge Luis Parrales, Attorney General of the Electricity Distributors Disnorte-Dissur, S, A. against administrative resolution number 218-2016, in the ordering the relocation of power transmission lines with their respective ancillary and related accessory works of its property located on the Las Piedrecitas, 7 Sur stretch of highway for the purpose of expanding them.

In this same session, it was unanimously approved to pass to the Finance, Budget and Infrastructure Commission the request for exemption from taxes and construction permits to the Projects called “Research Projects to improve the productivity of rice seed in Nicaragua, which the same as Research projects for the Promotion of the productivity of bean seed in Nicaragua, also to the project of the Cultivation of bamboo and improvement of the production of handicrafts based on bamboo, as well as the project of agricultural activity carried out by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), for due analysis for approval in a future session. The request was presented to the honorable council by the Mayor, comrade Daysi Torres.
