In extraordinary session number 43, the Honorable Council of Managua unanimously approved the General Budget of Income and Expenditure of the Municipality for the year 2017 and its Annual Investment Plan, which is quantified at 4,482 Million 467 Thousand 987 Córdobas.
This Municipal Budget for the year 2017 was based on this amount, as a result of the continuous progress of the municipal economy, reflected in the increase in collections contributed by taxpayers and the economic strategies implemented by the Municipal Government.
In this extraordinary session, the Special Commission for the Review of the Municipal Budget read the report on the distribution of expenditures, which was made as follows, Capital expenditure, amounts to 3,226 Million 218 Thousand 897 córdobas, which corresponds to 72% and the Current expenditure is estimated at 1 thousand 256 million 249 thousand 90 Córdobas corresponding to the 28%, as stipulated.
Asimismo, se leyeron los lineamientos y políticas institucionales para el año 2017, el cual establece mantener las alianzas estratégicas con el Gobierno Nacional, la población del municipio y las entidades de cooperación externa, para seguir el proceso de transformación y modernización de la ciudad capital de Nicaragua; continuar fortaleciendo el ejercicio de la democracia directa, promoviendo la participación de la población en todo el quehacer municipal.[vc_images_carousel images=”7247,7248,7249,7250,7251,7252″ img_size=”large”]
