The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, together with the Guardabarranco Environmental Movement, held a day of environmental awareness, where they delivered environmental bags, as well as copies of Municipal Ordinance 01-2013 on Environmental Damages and Fines.
This campaign was led by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua who, together with young environmentalists from the Guardabarranco Movement, handed out 600 bags and 600 copies of Municipal Ordinance 01-2013, to drivers who circulated in the traffic lights sector of the Central Sandinista de Trabajadores, who were made aware of the importance of keeping our capital city clean and beautiful.
The Vice Mayor of Managua announced that in the entire environmental awareness campaign, more than 10 thousand bags have been delivered to deposit garbage and 12 thousand copies of the Municipal Ordinance on "Environmental Damages and Fines in the Municipality of Managua"; He also indicated that this event was supported by Grupo Pellas, who donated the environmental bags, as part of its business responsibility.
