As part of the rescue of our culture and traditions, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power, through the Municipal Historical Heritage Directorate, held the call for the Eighth Best Altar Contest in honor of the Immaculate Conception of María in the municipality of Managua.
This municipal contest takes place among the devotees who celebrate the Purísima Concepción de María on December 7, in the different neighborhoods of the municipality of Managua, who compete for the best altar of the purísima in each district of the capital.
This call was made by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, and comrade Clemente Guido Martínez, Director of Historical Heritage, who invited the residents to register for the eighth edition of this contest.
They also announced that registrations are open from October 10 to November 19 of the current and among the parameters of the award the biblical content and adaptation to our reality in Nicaragua will be evaluated, as well as the material used, creativity and originality.
