The Paseo Xolotlán was the scene of the fair "the Cleanest and Most Beautiful Fritanga of Managua, which developed the Good Government through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, with the aim of promoting our traditions and good practices in proper management of food.
Fritangas from the 7 districts of Managua participated in this fair, competing for the best taste and presentation of this gastronomic fair, in which the first 2 places were awarded.
The fritanga Luz from District 2 and Los Ramírez from District 7, were the winners of the first and second place respectively, who expressed their satisfaction with the realization of this gastronomic contest, as expressed by Mrs. Luz Zenelia Romero, winner of the first place, who thanked the capital city for developing these activities that promote cleanliness, good service and good practices in food preparation.
The winners were awarded by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, who expressed the municipality's commitment to guaranteeing the cleanliness and public health of the capital's families. Likewise, he announced that the prizes consisted of the first place with 4 Thousand Córdobas, plus a table kitchen and its gas tank; and second place in a cash prize of 2 Thousand Córdobas.
