Mayor's Office pays tribute to the national hero Benjamín Zeledón

In commemoration of the 104th anniversary of the passing to immortality of our National Hero General Benjamín Zeledón Rodríguez, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua organized a keynote conference on the heroic deed of our distinguished compatriot.

This conference was presented by the Nicaraguan writer and historian Armando Zambrana Fonseca, who made known to young people from the Benjamín Zeledón school and cultural promoters of the Mayor's Office of Managua, the legacy of patriotism, courage and anti-imperialism that our National Hero inherited from us.

This activity, which took place in the municipal Historical Heritage auditorium, was chaired by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who expressed the Good Government's commitment to promoting patriotism and rescuing our historical memory.

He also highlighted the importance of making known the legacy of patriotism, nationalism and anti-imperialism, which our National Hero Benjamin Zeledón instilled, exalted by the General of Free Men and Women Augusto C. Sandino and that now the Good Government of Commander Daniel promotes and it becomes a reality in a free and in progress homeland.

For their part, the students and attendees of this exhibition thanked the authorities for holding this conference that promotes patriotism, nationalism and anti-imperialism in the new generations.
