With the aim of promoting good practices in the handling of food and preserving our traditions, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua is holding the fourth edition of the environmental contest "the cleanest and most beautiful fritanga in our capital city."
In the fourth edition of this popular event, more than 150 fritangas from the different districts of the municipality have registered, as was announced by the comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, who also reported that in the final of this contest, the Miss Fritanga pageant will be held, where girls belonging to the family business of the fritanga will participate.
Similarly, he expressed that the final of the event will be held on Saturday, October 1, in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores Park, where 42 fritters representing the 7 Districts of Managua will be contesting the first three places of the contest, where it will be taken in it has different parameters, such as the taste and presentation of the exposed foods.
It should be noted that this initiative promotes proper food handling, as well as good care and service to citizens who visit these traditional food stores.
