In greeting to the month of the fatherland and the first centenary of the passage to the immortality of our distinguished poet and Prince of Castilian Letters Rubén Darío, the Good Government through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, made a gala presentation with the group of choral declamation "Los Rubencitos".
This artistic presentation took place in the crystal room of the Rubén Darío National Theater, where the children recited 10 poems by Rubén Darío with content of love for Nicaragua, among them: "El Trópico", "Allá Lejos", "Nicaragua" and "Momotombo"; The Marina Cárdenas Municipal Choir also performed musicalized poems by the Prince of Castilian Letters.
The event was chaired by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, who announced that this group is made up of boys and girls from different neighborhoods of the capital, who at the beginning of this year participated and classified in the contest " Looking for Rubencito ”and now they are part of this group of choral declamation.
She also indicated that these children prepared in 5 months to make this gala presentation, so she was happy with the artistic expressions and expressed the commitment of the Good Government to continue promoting culture and values in Nicaraguan children and youth.
