In compliance with the Citizen Power model and with the objective of improving the quality of life of capital families, the Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of Managua, built a multipurpose field in the Comandante Tomás Borge Martínez neighborhood of District 7 of Managua.
This new space for recreation and leisure for families in the sector was built on the north side of the traffic lights of the Conchita Palacios complex, in an area that was misused as an illegal dump; and that the population requested in the town councils and community assemblies, the construction of a multipurpose field.
The multipurpose court was inaugurated by the comrade, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, who announced that the Capital Commune built the multipurpose court with its bleachers, the wall and the perimeter mesh, as well as the installation of lights and wastebaskets.
This work, which had an investment of 500 thousand Córdobas, directly benefits an approximate of 2 thousand inhabitants of the area, who expressed their gratitude with this project of restitution of rights, as expressed by Mr. Leonardo González, who on behalf of the community expressed his gratitude to the Good Government, who changed the face of the Tomás Borge neighborhood, which had an illegal dump at its entrance and is now a multipurpose field for community recreation.[vc_images_carousel images=”6201,6202,6203,6204,6205,6206,6207,6208,6210″ img_size=”large”]
