Six-block cobblestone in the Enrique Smith neighborhood of District III

More than 1,800 inhabitants of the Enrique Smith neighborhood of District III, were benefited with the placement of 1,770 square meters of cobblestones in the bearing folder that is equivalent to six and a half blocks of streets, 668 linear meters of ditches were built in addition to improved the storm drainage system.

In this project that the Managua Mayor's Office executed through the Annual Investment Plan (PIA), it is almost two million cordobas product of the taxes paid by the capital taxpayers.

The work was inaugurated and delivered to the residents by Vice Mayor Enrique Armas Rosales, who stated that this improvement of the roads and storm drainage was an orientation from President Daniel Ortega and Compañera Rosario Murillo who are aware of the main needs of the people, and this It is one of them since this work, in addition to improving the road network, eliminated one of the critical flooding points in winter times.

It should be noted that these streets were previously dusty and in winter time the rain currents were introduced to the houses, so the residents in an organized way requested this work that was very urgent to improve their standard of living.

The work also benefits the inhabitants of the Enrique Smith neighborhood, the neighborhoods of Villa Nueva, Raúl Cerna, Arges Sequeira, Colonia Lomas del Sur and San Patricio.
