Committed to guaranteeing the well-being of the capital's population, the Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua, provided attention to the families affected by the strong winds on the afternoon of Friday, July 22.
In the report of damages, provided by comrade Fidel Moreno, Secretary General of the Capital Commune, he announced that in the municipality of Managua 33 houses suffered damages to their roofs and 3 collapsed, being the coastal area of District 6, the most affected by this event of nature.
The attention and accompaniment to the affected families was done immediately, through the Citizen Power model, where the organized community identified the affectations and reported them to the district delegations and successively to the municipal and national levels.
Comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council and the Sandinista Youth Solidarity Promotory, gave the support and greetings from the Good Government to the affected families, who were given materials to repair the affected roofs, as well as the materials to build 3 houses worthy of the collapsed houses.
For their part, the affected families appreciated the immediate attention provided by the Good Government, as expressed by Mrs. Yesenia Flores Cruz from the Lomas de San Judas neighborhood, whose humble little house collapsed and now a decent home will be built; Likewise, Pastor Pedro Antonio Mairena was shown, who received sheets of zinc and squares to repair the roof of his house.
