Rehabilitation of park in Reparto Las Palmas

In greeting to the 37th anniversary of the Sandinista Popular Revolution and in restitution of the right to recreation and healthy recreation of the capital's families. The Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua and the National Port Company, carried out the total rehabilitation of the Oscar Turcio Chavarría park located in the Las Palmas district of District 2.

This work of the common good was delivered to the population by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Secretary of the Managua Council, and comrade Virgilio Silva, Director of the National Port Company, who expressed the Good Government's commitment to improve the quality of life of the Nicaraguan families, through projects and programs that guarantee the restitution of rights.

Likewise, comrade Reyna Rueda announced that this work of progress is the result of the alliance model, which promotes Good Governance between institutions and the municipality, to guarantee better living conditions for families in the capital.

It reported that the National Ports Company invested 6 million 929 thousand 897 Córdobas in the improvements of this park, where the construction of 2 sports fields, the main entrance, 2 booths for security guards, a battery of sanitary services, 1,660 square meters of platforms, as well as the perimeter wall with metal fences and their access gates; benches and playgrounds were also rehabilitated and new ones were installed.

The families of the sector expressed their gratitude for the rehabilitation of this community park that benefits the inhabitants of the Las Palmas district and neighboring sectors, such as the Monseñor Lezcano, Javier Cuadra, Manuel Olivares and Altagracia neighborhoods.
